Every substance introduced to the EU-market ≥ 1 t/a needs to be registered with ECHA within certain time limits. LKC will check if late-pre-registration is still an option or if an inquiry prior to submission is necessary. Certain data needs to be presented in a joint submission if there is more than one company in the SIEF. Data requirements depend on yearly tonnage, intrinsic properties, uses and exposures. A CSR is required for substances ≥10t/a.
Information and data requirements for intermediates and PPORD substances is different due to reduced information requirements.
Testing requirements are based on tonnage band (≥ 1, ≥ 100, ≥ 1000 t/a) or the fact that a substance is CMR. Based on the registration strategy and data gap analysis LKC will place and monitor GLP studies with laboratories. Being independent enables LKC to choose the most experienced and best suited laboratory for the necessary tests. By introducing LKCs experience early into your testing and regulatory strategy will help to safe time and money during the registration process.
